For Today...

Outside my window..the snow still clings to everything. We're still in somewhat of a deep freeze. Occasionally, the sun seems to be trying to shine through.
I am thinking...that the Daniel Fast we are should prove interesting for everyone in the house, even though the kids are not participating.

I am thankful for...some really great Christian music, which is helping me think about other things than food.

From the kitchen... we had stir-fry vegetables with brown rice. It really was feeling and totally delicious.

I am wearing...black pants and a turquoise turtleneck top.

I am remembering…how much I really didn't like winter even as a child. All those winter retreats - falling on my back side while on skates, or running into trees while on a toboggan. Perhaps that's why I'm still a stick in the mud when it comes to winter!

I am going…to take a teleseminar this evening on social media. Gotta keep learning all this new stuff!

I am reading...still trying to get through Oswald Chambers devotional "My Highest for His Utmost.", but I'm also reading a pamphlet on reasons for unaswered prayers.

I am hoping...That my son actually follows through with his interest in going back to school, and that my daughter finds a job...soon!

On my mind…Our children and their spiritual condition, my health, and my husband's. I'm also wondering what the Lord has for our future.

I am creating...nothing at the moment.

I am hearing...the WOW2010 CD playing in the living room. Great music!

Pondering these words

"You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever." Psalm 16:11

Around the house...trying to begin a little spring cleaning.

One of my favorite things...hearing from family. My mom and dad and I talk every weekend, but I like hearing from ALL of my family.

A few plans for the rest of the week...working for client, following leads to get a new client, keeping the house clean, continuing our Daniel Fast and journaling.

A picture to share with you:

The "Bobbsey" twins - best of friends, my dd on the right and her bff.

Hello...family checking in. Sounds like you are busy with all the reading, listening, fasting...
I should really try reading something one of these days...besides blogs and mags that is! But, I will worry about that tomorrow!!
