The Simple Woman's Daybook

For Today...

Outside my window... a pretty day! Sunshine, not too hot.

I am thinking... I've already made two trips to the dentist, and it looks like it's going to need a third. I wish they'd resolve this dry socket problem!

I am thankful for... some extra money coming in via my new job.

From the kitchen... I'm looking for a new crockpot recipe for chicken for tonight. Need to find it soon, and get it cooking!

I am wearing... my nightgown, unfortunately, my mouth is bugging me and I'm moving slow!

I am reading... Leviticus, Psalms, and John

I am hoping... our meeting at the unemployment office re: training for dd - will prove productive.

I am creating... a messy desk! I need to get it organized.

I am praying...for both of my children. They are both making such foolish choices. Dd's boyfriend situation is a REAL problem.

Around the house... I'm beginning to start cleaning and pitching or selling things we don't need.

One of my favorite things... NOT going to the dentist!

A few plans for the rest of the week..Going to the dentist (are we seeing a pattern here?), working for client, going on a day trip with husband on the 4th.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...

A picture of our little miniature daisies. The daisy is the size of regular daisies, but on these little petite stalks. I love them!

Love the pic of the daisies!

Sorry you are having dry socket problems -- I know that is terribly painful.

I also understand about kids making poor choices. Maturing is definitely a difficult process - both for the child and the parent.

Hope you get your dental issues resolved soon. That's no fun!

It must be really tough to see the problem with the boyfriend and not be able to do anything about it. I'll be praying that your daughter will listen to your wise council.

Good luck with the dentist.
