Fearless is by Max Lucado, and it's one of the books I've been wanting to pick up and read. In a time when we all are facing fear regarding the economy, health care, the anti-Christian sentiment, fears for our children - especially the many that are falling away from the faith, it's a wonder any of us keep from coming unglued.
I struggle with fear from time to time, and find myself having to recall again and again the words of Phil. 4:6&7 - "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." I was once told, in the midst of difficult times, to pray it back to the Lord, repeat it over and over until it sinks into your heart. It's truth!
