The Simple Woman's Daybook

For Today...

Outside my window...it's so pretty today! It started out pretty cool today, but the sunshine feels warm.

I am thinking...that it was pretty interesting to see how dependent my children and I are on our electricity! It was out from 10 a.m. to 1:10 pm.! We're really addicted.

I am thankful for...my husband's cardiologist! He's concerned and caring when things happen like this weekend. I believe he'll help us figure out what's going on.

From the kitchen...looking for the kitchen genie to make supper tonight. I have to use turkey burger...it's out, what to do, what to do. I don't have all the ingredients that I thought I had, and don't want to spend more money.

I am wearing...black pants, pink top, warm afghan!! (thanks mom)

I am reading...just finished "The Hole in Our Gospel" - now looking for something new to read.

I am hoping...the repairs on the power steering won't be outrageously expensive!

I am creating...a fan or event page for my client! Learning to do this, as it is brand new to me!

I am hearing...the TV, which I can't stand listening to in the middle of the day!

Around the house...finishing laundry, doing dishes, working for client, mailing mail...lots of odds and ends.

One of my favorite things...looking for pretty fall leaves to use around the house for decor.

A few plans for the rest of the week...sending someone I love a gift, working for client, starting with a new client, getting my house caught up (cleaning), praying for my hubby who is still struggling with tachycardia.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you..

Happy 57th anniversary, Mom and Dad

57 years! Holy Cow!

I am not sure if dad made the board or maybe Arnold...but I know someone made it. Probably Arnold. Dad LOVED that game...that I remember...

It sounds like the doctor figured out what is going on with your husband. I hope that the doctor finds suitable treatment for your husband's tachycardia.
