The Simple Woman's Daybook

For Today...

Outside my window.. a little gray and gloomy, and much cooler.

I am thinking...that it's hard to concentrate when you don't feel too well.

I am thankful for...a warm home, an employed hubby, a great church....and on and on.

From the kitchen... simply hamburgers and baked french fries with a vegetable.
I am wearing...black pants and an emerald green cowl neck sweater.

I am remembering…past Christmas celebrations when we had nothing to give anyone...and while this year is going to be tight - it's nothing like it's been in the past. We are blessed.

I am going…no where! Staying home. We're down to one car for the time being, so errands and such have to wait.

I am reading...still trying to get through Oswald Chambers devotional "My Highest for His Utmost."

I am hoping...that our dd finds a job soon. Enough is enough!

On my mind…Our children and their spiritual condition, their need for ambition and motivation, and common sense.

I am creating...nothing at the moment.

I am hearing...the inane TV...it must be time to motivate the dd to get busy!

Pondering these words…"The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe." Proverbs 18:10

Around the house...getting the living room clean so we can put the tree up tonight.

One of my favorite things...listening to Christmas music by candlelight.

A few plans for the rest of the week...working for client, decorating, getting power steering fixed on other car
