FOR TODAY... from Connie's Daybook

Outside my window...some sunshine, and a lot of very happy birds and a pig in the shape of a squirrel eating all the birdseed.

I am thinking...we made it!! 21 days on the Daniel Fast.

I am thankful for... scrambled eggs. What a treat! Who would have ever thought something so simple would taste so good?

I am wearing...black pants, and a red long sleeved tee shirt

I am remembering...that Spring really will come again.

I am going... to listen to a teleseminar on how to create a good blog.

I am currently reading...nothing. I need a trip to the library!

I am hoping... the bitter cold will warm up to at least the mid thirties - soon!!

On my mind... the ever present, never able to forget, the spiritual needs of my children! They need the Lord.

Noticing that...I really don't miss Farmville!! I stopped visiting my farm for the 21 days - and I'm still not interested in going back to it. Poor farm...it's gonna die. Oh well!!

Pondering these words... "For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His." II Chronicles 16:9

From the kitchen... hamburgers for them (turkey burger for me), french fries for them, and veggies.

Around the house... trying to decide on a pair of drapes for the front room. It shouldn't be this hard to do!

One of my favorite things - seeing a robin in February. It's gotta be a good sign, right?

From my picture journal...

These beautiful, crisp white azaleas were from my hubby - just because. The picture doesn't do them justice.

Hahaha @ the squirrel!

Congrats on arriving on the other side of your fast. I'm sure you were blessed.

I'm glad you mentioned the robin...I could have sworn I heard 1 this weekend, but I couldn't see it when I looked. You live in the same town...who knows, it could have been the same 1! '-)

Blessings, Kim W<><
