Outside my window... it's a beautiful day of sunshine and blue skies. A bit cool, but pretty.
I am thinking...sometimes you have to take the bad with the good. I know that sounds backwards, but that just happened. I had a good thing happen, followed by a bad thing. 'Tis life.

From the kitchen...made the best Chicken corn chowder yesterday! Yum. Then warmed it up for lunch today - wish there was more!
I am wearing...gray pants, purple tee with sequins.
I am creating...a growing business.
I am going...crazy, want to come along??? (lol)
I am reading...Proverbs, and quotes from Stephen Covey.
I am hoping...that my children will some day live for the Lord, and be successful in what they do.
I am hearing...the ticking of our reproduction mantle clock. I love that sound.
Around the house...getting ready to redecorate our smallest bedroom.
One of my favorite things...playing sudoku, drinking a cup of tea, with my afghan snuggled around me.
A few plans for the rest of the week: working for clients, go to small group, doing the laundry.

Sometimes, it's true...big things come in small packages. This little, hole in the wall of a country store, we thought was no bigger than what you see. However, it went on, and on, and on. It was an Amish Farm supply store - and they had seed, tools, boots, tea pots (bigger than you could imagine!), local honey, local jam, flour - all kinds, baked goods, trivets, wood furniture....I can't even list how many things we found of interest. Much of it hand produced. What a treat to come upon this place!

I would love to find a store like that Amish store!
I love to curl up with hot tea, an afghan and a puzzle, too, except instead of sodoku, it would be a word find puzzle for me.
First, of all...I'm right behind you on the road to 'crazy'! lol But before we get lost...tell me where that store is!

You're gonna have to drive a "fer piece" to get there, Kim - I believe it was in Logan County. I'll ask John if he remembers where exactly. What a surprise...a real hide-away. I was fascinated with their tea-kettles. I want one!! They were huge - bigger than the size of my burners - but they sure would hold a lot of water! They're probably meant for a wood stove top...but who cares?
